I find it truly inspirational when charlatons such as these are nailed to the wall. I hope many, many more states will follow Missouri's lead and bury this company of psychic sleaze merchants.

Well, Missouri is known as "the show-me state."

Oh, puhhlleeessseee!!! Remember the old SNL bit where the guys drive nails through their hands and railroad spikes into their heads and they're amazed when it hurts? This is natural selection. Feeling sorry for the "victims" of Miss Cleo is like feeling sorry for turkeys that drown in the rain. Like the lady herself says, "I con do baad all by m'self." The money they spent is the cost of their education. Clearly she did them a service. Betcha they all learned something.

That sounds fair from a certain point of view, what Cleo's organization did was a crime and should be punished.

I'd like to see her burned as witch

Otherwise it might get a bit boring.

Radioactive GM Crops.

Slightly above background.

Safe to eat.

But no activist would dare rip it out.

As they think it gives them cancer.

C'mon folks, it's just supposed to be fun. I've seen her commercials, and they have a disclaimer "for entertainment purposes only". The woman is an entertainer. Heck, she's an actress. Nobody is sueing them for pretending to be something they're not.

True, Wendy, but you'd be surprised how gullible some humans can be.

No, I haven't and I don't have the time nor the patience for the HUMONGOID headache I'll get from that. Got better things to worry about...

And the signature is a part of a quote I found in another post on another BB I frequent.

I gotta start advertising this place and the other place I go to...

Nope. I have found that a few people here might be nice to post here: STO Talk
Thing is, though, you gotta post with your real name. The flaming is few and far between, thanks to a tough, but fair, user agreement, and a tough, but fair sysop. Great place with great people. Watch the politics threads, though. I consider them to be no-man-lands.

Do you seriously think that the fans of Miss Cleo would read the small print even had they the ability to do so?

No, they are the same people who buy mobile phones, then get all pissed off when they can't return it because of the contract.
