Get 'em while they're hot! All those commie liberals who were unpatriotic enough to denounce the war with Iraq: Weasel Deck. Sure to be a collectors item!

I don't get it... Why is it called Deck of Weasels?
After scanning through about half of the deck I find the portraits of HEROES.
I find their words and actions commendable.

How much I disagree with the reasons for the US invasion of Iraq, I can't demand of them to leave. The invasion is completed, there is nothing to do about it.
Now it's the administration's God-given, or God-damned duty to se order restored in Iraq, including the rebuilding of physical and social infrastructure. To back off now is to discredit and draw shame upon the nation who decided to act as World Police.
The dammage President Bush has done is not irreversible. But whoever becomes the next president has an obligation to see this through to the bitter end in order to prevent the dammage from becoming permanent. I do not envy that person.

If you look at the history of the U.S., it's not likely that they'll allow much of a democracy in Iraq. The people of Iraq are screwed. We need democracy in the U.S. before we can expect any democracy to happen elsewhere I think.

Maybe it's time the Left started a defammation campaign of it's own. They could have the "Deck of Assholes." It could include the entire Administration, the 'Exterminator' from Texas, and then we could throw in the Hollywood whacko types like Heston, Willis, Schwarzenegger, and the chicken-shit Board at CBS. Then we'd need a deck just to cover the far right mouthpeices that daily spew out their vitriol like Limbaugh, (both of them), Hannity, O'Reilly, Thomas and Will.

The list goes on, but who really needs to be reminded.

A country in chaos as it is now is the perfect growing ground for extremists. Social misery is the charismatic Islamic leader's best friend. By providing schools and hospitals without preaching religions will remove some of the discontent.
Thinking the job was done and finished in Afghanistan was a serious mistake. The one thing good about the Taliban regime was that they slowed down the narcotics coming out there. That it's on the rise again, which only proves that the job is not done.

Hmph! It would have to be a pinochle deck to come even close to getting them all.

What pisses me off is that I'm not in the Weasle Deck. I wasn't on Nixon's Enemy List, either. Bummer!

Edited to add: I rather liked the 'Do You Support Rush?' popup add that came with the link. I'm temped to write and tell them that I do indeed support Rush -- on a rail, a narrow one, being carried out of town.

I'm glad they've warned us about that subversive Katie Couric! I feel safe from her relentless liberal ideology now. Huh?

I'm puttin' this deck of cards on my Christmas list. And guess what I'm getting my mother, bless her (my mom's, not Ann's) aging hippy heart:

Me.

He gave away the Panama Canal when he could have tried to get Panama to join us as a state.

He drove us into an awful level of inflation.

He whooshied to the Iranians.

He took over the housing project but just pandered to the conventional builders never even trying to use new materials to produce a much cheaper and more usable home.
