I'm new and a bit curious about the activity level in here. I've frequented forums where people post to discussions several times a day and sometimes, if the conversation's firey enough, several times an hour. Here I see a MUCH lower level of activity. Just for curiosity's sake, please post a response with the frequency you check the boards here - Daily, Weekly, Monthly, somewhere in between?

As I'm on the staff here, I won't answer your question because I don't want to skew your results, but I just wanted to pop in and say that some of the data you're looking for can be found by clicking on members' profiles, and looking at the "posts per day" count under "Total Posts." It won't tell you how often people check the SFN forums, but it will tell you how often they write.

I try to check the forum for new posts at least once a day. Though due to my job and things to do otherwise, I don't always find the time to respond. Sometimes I'm just too lazy.

I check the forums 8,000 times a day, but I only post 7,000 times a day. I don't want to be obsessive.

I usualy check the site several times a day during the week depending on how busy work is. Usually never on weekends. I will respond when I can depending on time or if I get fired up.

I pretty much fit into all the above answers that the others gave.
When I'm taking a class or out of town...less time here, when I'm not able to get out of the house....more time. One never knows from day to day or month to month.
And contrary to popular belief I do have a life outside of reading this site or doing anything else on the computer.

I usually check in at least once a day, though I rarely post. Usually, the regulars here do a much better job of discussing the topics at hand than I can, so I prefer to read and learn. When I believe I can add something of significance, then I add my two cents.

Having said that, I haven't popped in for the last couple of days because my computer died on me. But I'm once again up and running!

Wow, Paladin: three posts in less than two hours. You feeling sick? Or just got a "repaired computer" high?

Could you please provide cites and references supporting your claim that the stars control your computer?

Well, it's either the stars, or those voices in my head.
