Underlying the evolutionary theory is not just the classic "stuff" of science conclusions arrived at through prolonged observation and experimentation. Evolution is first an atheistic, materialistic world view. In other words, the primary reason for its acceptance has little to do with the evidence for or against it. Evolution is accepted because men are atheists by faith and thus interpret the evidence to cor-respond to their naturalistic philosophy.

Hmm, yes, Jews. Reading history, we find that the Jews have long been everybody's favorite scapegoat. In the mid-1300s, they were even blamed for the plague by honest and decent Christians. And they were murdered in the millions before and during WW II by honest and decent Christians.
Did you know that it was a Jewish officer that awarded Adolph Hitler his Iron Cross First Class during WW I? And also that the First Class was a very unusual award for an enlisted man? And that it was the only medal that Hitler ever again wore?
Don't believe me? Look it up.

It's funny. Verlch goes on wild tangents, makes unusual claims, and angers/confuses the forums (to a point where it makes me laugh). So I have my own conjecture. Maybe he is purposely doing all this to yank on our chains, so he can get a laugh. Even at the expense of going through all this work. I remember when I was a kid that I used to do this on chatrooms for fun. Eventhough I'm probably wrong...it's funnier thinking it my way :P.
BTW, this topic has gone...well off topic. Instead of telling verlch to bring up a topic and prove it, just keep talking and I'm sure he too will argue ON topic. Though his argument may be very weak, that's the most you'll get from him. |

Eh, it's a verlch thread and we're used to it. He likes a shotgun approach to most subjects. Covers more country that way.
To really get a feel for him, check out a few eariler threads. He's truly amazing! "Things Get Fugly" would be a good place to start.

Well they have found the name James Brother of Jesus on it!!! For starters....
That why they call Jesus a good man, because there is way to much proof for his existance.
John 3:8: The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
John 3:12: If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
15: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. |

For your merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all nations deceived. Revelation 18:11
REVELATION CHAPTER 17:
...Come here; I will show to you the judgment of the great whore that sits on many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And on her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and ten horns. And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire! For God has put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. And the woman which you saw is that great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.
REVELATION CHAPTER 18
..Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she has filled fill to her double. How much she has glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Guess what, when we dig in the earth we find 'missing links'. Unearthed evidence our bible is true!!! We don't have to say the bible is fiction, because when we dig things up it speaks of Daniel, Kings of Babylon and such.
You have 500 million (uhhhemmm)years worth of earth to dig through and you can only make me drawing of animals that never existed!!! Come on men, why spread this lie??? Isn't it easier to just say 'I don't like God and I choose not to accept Him???' But yes I cannot deny the existance of my maker!!! Than to invent an alternative way to achieve a 'mindless chaotic existance'? Your purpose her on earth is to work and enjoy the fruits of your hands, and to choose between 'good' and 'evil'....
http://www.campusprogram.com/reference/en/wikipedia/u/ur/ur.html
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour is your judgment come. And the MERCHANTS of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buys their MERCHANDISE any more! And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for your MERCHANTS were the GREAT MEN of the earth; for by your sorceries were ALL nations deceived! And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
"Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand." -Jeremiah 42:11

John 14 29: And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
The first excavation was made by British consul J.E. Taylor, who partly uncovered the ziggurat. Clay cylinders found in the four corners of the top stage of the ziggurat bore an inscription of Nabonidus, the last king of Babylon (639 BC), closing with a prayer for his son Belshar-uzur Bel-sarra-Uzur), the Belshazzar of the book of Daniel. Evidence was found of restoration by the ziggurat by Ishme-Dagan of Isin and Gimil-Sin of Ur, and of Kuri-galzu, a Cossaean (Kassite) king of Babylon, of the 14th century BC. Nebuchadrezzar also claims to have rebuilt the temple. Taylor further excavated an interesting Babylonian building, not far from the temple, and part of an ancient Babylonian necropolis. All about the city he found abundant remains of burials of later periods. Apparently, in the later times, owing to its sanctity, Ur became a favourite place of sepulture, so that after it had ceased to be inhabited it still continued to be used as a necropolis.

I've had to get into the pain killers tonight, so I'll have to fet back to this tomorrow, but I've read that the James ossuary(sp?) box is a fraud. The inscription has been shown to have been done at two seperate times in different styles. These sandstone boxes are fairly common.
I'll ge tback to this.

So, not just evolution, but now geology and all other sciences which look at the very old require the rejection of God? Amazing.quote: Your purpose her on earth is to work and enjoy the fruits of you hands, and to choose between 'good' and 'evil'....
While that is, indeed, what I do here on Earth every day, my purpose is my own. To adhere to such a purpose as you describe is to sell oneself short - pathetically short. You've got much more potential than that, verlch. Apparently, you're not familiar with Jesus' parable about the talents, or you've missed its meaning. |
