Dunno what happened, but here we are again! I am changing database types soon so lapses in service should be fewer and far between.

Thanks Nubi. You've no idea how stressfull this has been. Please don't be shy about reporting problems. I have had to rapidly rewrite code that has worked fine for months and now suddenly doesn't. It feels like the laws of physics have changed on me overnight and we all know how painful that can be!!

ADODB.Recordset error '800a0e78'
Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.

Don't mean to stress you out further, but why is this at the top of my SFN page?

If you refresh the page do you still get that error message?

Note: If you get an error, try to refresh first!!!

Heck, I even tried rebooting the computer! Still there. Also, is the "who's on the boards" gone, or am I just not seeing it?

Who's Online is still there. I haven't had a problem with the PM view page since I edited it. Maybe try deleting your cookie or log out then back in??

Not to be a party poop, but I'm just getting the banner on the top of the home page and this page. Everything else is white as the driven snow, no matter how many times I Reload. And with a new cookie.

Yet, as of right now, all is working just fine over here.

No error messages, no white space, pager working fine.

Win98, IE5 here.

ooops...spoke too soon.

I *am* missing the "edit my post" button, but that's relatively minor.

(Great award Randy! And well-deserved, @tomic...thanks!)

Thanks, Zman AND @tomic! I've noticed the site coming together piece-meal the last couple of hours. Looks mostly back up to snuff at my end here. Couple of kinks here and there. Almost running on all 8 cylinders.

I noticed one change. We cannot delete or change our own posts anymore. That means that we must be very careful the first time we write anything, because it will be there to haunt us forever (except when the site is down, of course).

Thanks for your continued efforts, @tomic. I'm new, but I'm addicted.
