As Dave stated, bats are anything but blind. Don't believe me? Try sneaking up on one when it's roosting. I have. Did you know that there are species of bat that catch fish? And others that are important pollenators of desert plants and have specialized tongues for reaching deeply into the flowers of cacti? There is even three species that can scurry along on the ground like a lizard and leap over four feet into the air. Pretty amazing, is it not?
Further, not all bats use 'sonar', notably the fruit bats. And did you know that some species of shrew (non-fliers) echolocate? And that some species of moth hear the bat's probing cries and take evasive action? Don't believe me? Look it up. In fact, look up the sight thing and all the rest of it as well.
And thus you will know something of your subject before you start blathering, rather than have to listen to all that laughter afterward.

quote: First handed micro changes. When a baby has downs, and you see it in the fossil record as different human, does that mean evolution is happening??? In the fossil record I am sure you find species of all different time periods in them!!!
I would respond to this if I knew what he was trying to say. This paragraph reads like it was made with a random word generator. quote: So now a neandrthal is a negotive thing??? I would think such a fabulous relation to distant four legged beasts would be most stimulating for the human mind.
neandrthals (as you call them) were bipedal (walked on 2 legs). quote: It would be nice to do some DNA testing on those pilkton men!!!
Drat! I think he's got us here. I bet you would find that the plinkydown man is a fraud....

No, verlch is making a reference to that old disco song, "Won't you take me to... Plinky Town?" I don't know why he's doing so, but it seems like just a typo. |

You're absolutely right. I appologize to all the neandthals for lumping them into a class including verlch.
So now a neandrthal is a negotive thing??? I would think such a fabulous relation to distant four legged beasts would be most stimulating for the human mind. Thus elivate the whole human race!!! Monkies and hominoids as our distant brethern, puts the whole human race on a different plane!! I didn't realize our status was equal to the animals...
Since God gives man dominion over the whole earth and places us above every living thing...I find it demeaning that you would want to come from what you have dominion over!!! What are you men thinking???
Your religious dogma, though entertaining, is irrelevant. I can't change nature. All the religious documents in the world won't change nature.
And from your description of neanderthals it is clear that you have no clue as to what one is. Neanderthals are hominids. They are not four legged creatures. Your lack of knowledge in this area is disturbing. |

I'm beginning to wonder: Is our friend verlch on some kind of an esoteric, lunar cycle? A preposterous werewolf unable to disobey his curse??
Consider: He pops up and makes us all crazy for a while, then vanishes. Only to return a while later for a repeat performance. Can it be that when he's gone (but hardly forgotten) he's a perfectly sane and reasonable person. But when the moon and stars are just so, he flips, grows a matted, hairy pelt and goes out slavering and baying for the blood and souls of skeptics? Hmmm?

Nope. I didn't do the thorough search that Dave W did on coberst, but I did stick his name in the ol' search engine, and found him at women hating web sites and such. I think he's pretty much the same all throughout the month. |

If I find myself with a LOT of time on my hands, I might just do that. However, school is starting next week, and I'm taking 17 credits and working. I'll be lucky if I get to post, much less do miscellaneous research. |

I did notice that his Aura was a bit off kilter and he was born in April making him more prone to dizzy spells, which are also caused by the elctromagnetic fields the local power lines are giving off.

So if a man doesn't agree with radical evolution he is labeled as silly??? Well free will has blessed this human with choices and a will!!! So you continue to walk with the apes and fishes...and your unchangeable 'nature' that God made, and he made it how He likes it!!! I want to write a book, I'll call it, "The Trillion Questions Radical Evolutionists Can't Answer!!!!" And I'll try and list them all!!!! lol... |
What came first the chicken or the egg?
How do plants exist without bugs in the soil, and bugs in the soil without plants producing oxygen?
There are no atheists in foxholes
Underlying the evolutionary theory is not just the classic "stuff" of science — conclusions arrived at through prolonged observation and experimentation. Evolution is first an atheistic, materialistic world view. In other words, the primary reason for its acceptance has little to do with the evidence for or against it. Evolution is accepted because men are atheists by faith and thus interpret the evidence to cor-respond to their naturalistic philosophy.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. II Timothy 4:3,4
II Thess. 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
You can not see the 'wind', but you can see its effect!!!!
Evolution was caused by genetic mistakes at each stage?
Radical Evolution has 500 million years to find fossils of fictional drawings of (hard core)missing links, yet they find none.
We have not seen such moral darkness since the dark ages, coencides with teaching evolution in schools. (Moral darkness)
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places, EPH 6:12.
"Thus, many scientists embracing naturalism find themselves in the seeming dilemma recently articulated by biochemist Franklin Harold: "We should reject, as a matter of principle, the substitution of intelligent design for the dialogue of chance and necessity [i.e., Darwinian evolution]; but we must concede that there are presently no detailed Darwinian accounts of the evolution of any biochemical system, only a variety of wishful speculations."

Verlch man, I say this in the spirit of helping my neighbor, you need some help. You posts are getting more and more aggressive and less understandable. I don't know what your problems are, but you need to work them out before they really fuck you up. Go talk to someone. Please.

How about a book entitled, The 143-plus Assertions for Which Verlch Refuses to Provide Support.
Being a new member here, I had initially intended to address a few of the originally posted assertions...but in reading through 17 pages, I came to realize that Verlch is of the sort I've encountered in other online fora. He's more interested in beating his drum than in making actual music.

Look, guys, there's still nothing new here. He's complained that he's being ridiculed just because he doesn't "agree" with evolution in the past, and has ignored the response he got (which was basically, "no, you're being ridiculed because you say ridiculous things about subjects you obviously don't understand"). He's claimed things about god numerous times, and failed to respond to direct questions about that. He's also repeating the claim that his questions are going unanswered, but the problem there is that his questions are all based upon incorrect knowledge, but since he refuses to even try to learn anything, the answers and corrections provided make no sense to him.
Given the longevity of these difficulties so far, I am convinced they're not going to go away. We need to just give it up. At least until he says something novel (which might be next post, for all I know). |
