From what I've read of it, I think that if the guy did it, his mental state is such that before long he'll be telling anyone he can get to listen all about it to absolve his soul.

Agreein' with Ricky. Although the evidence seems to lean toward him, we don't know enough, yet.

The facts presented in this thread in no way shape or form could ever lead you to that conclusion. ...Boy, if I ever go to court, I sure hope Beskeptigal is not part of the jury

You are being too PC, Ricky. Of course I can convict him on the spot.

Teen in car wreck found after 8 days.

The article doesn't say but on the news the report was the person who found her had a vision of some kind. The family attributes it to prayer. It could easily be coincidence, because the car had gone off the road and there may have been clues at the site. However, the police and others had been looking for 8 days. If you knew the area, it really doesn't have that many cliffs one could be lost after driving over the edge. We have lots of hills and mountains, but this was closer to town.

I'd say it wasn't ESP but I thought it was interesting.

Good that she survived more or less intact.

One thing that must be remembered is that a huge percentage of the worlds population believes in some form of extrasensory abilities. And when we tell a story, we try to tell it well, often adding a bit of embellishment. "Seen a vision!" is a common one and the "power of prayer" even more so.

It doesn't say, but the police might well have treated the case as a runaway, thus accounting for much of the time frame.
