Wait a minute, if 1,000 seems to be a big number to people in ancient times, and Moses lived to be around 900............... another inaccuracy! |

Does this mean that the Faraos became that old too?

Y'know, I never thought of that! Apart from dropping the odd plague on them and drowning a few, I don't recall the Bible describing the Egyptians much beyond what oppressive thugs they were.
The most stars I've ever seen was during midwatchs when my ship was far out at sea. Absolutly stunning!
Why I wonder, do the stars appear so much brighter and clearer on really cold nights?

Absolutely less humidity. Generally after rain so it would seem that less atmospheric pollution, natural or artificial, have an impact. Light pollution from cities. |

Wait a minute... Come to think of it, didn't life expectancy start to decline after Noah? Satans_mom, I think you need to provide some references to Moses actually getting that old.

According to the Bible Moses died at 120 years old. The bible says Noah lived to be about 900, I think.
God got mad at Moses and killed him because Moses lost his temper and broke his staff on some rocks. He did let him see the promised land before he killed him though - what a nice diety!
