Until that anthrax asshole started poisoning people by mail, I used to put a little fine sand in those free postage envelopes, now and again. I sometimes wonder how many electric letter openers I've destroyed.
I wouldn't reccommend doing that any more.

What you do is you take those free postage envelopes, and you place all the rest of your junk mail in it. Then send it off. This gets rid of all your junk mail problems.
I've done that, too. But they've wised up to it and now there's a weight limit on the letters. Still, it does get rid of the crap, even if they don't have to pay the postage.
The sand trick could still be done, I think. Use gloves to handle it all and make sure your name is not included, and mail it from another town. More trouble than it's worth unless you're really pissed, though. Those letter openers really aren't all that expensive.

Thanks for the tip, Doc, but I only do it with snail mail. Might be wishful thinking on my part, but it does seem to help. Sure makes me feel better! |

I too, use two E address'. It has worked out nicely. One mailbox, I never even bother to open,

| Yeah, I use two email accs, one I never bother to open - I use it to sign up for crap, like downloads and whatnot. Still, the buggers un-digged my original one. |
