Yeah, yeah, I caught that.
While I will defend to the death their right to do this, I still comdemn them for the vile, cowardly, lowlife, rat-bastards that they are.
I don't have the link, but I read that one neo-con, garbage site posted that the demonstration was by anti-war liberals.

Someone said to me today:
"It is a plan by the right to make anti-war people look REALLY stupid."
Hahah...
But, yea, goes to show, when the Right Wing picks up a bunch of their Fundamentalist whacko's taking the anti-gay message one step too far... they suddenly run for the hills from it.
Funny how when you endorse hatred and openly fight against the rights of people, even at a small level, it always makes folks like these ass-hats start to pop up.
Didn't we see this type of thing with the KKK? The government kept 'kinda' endorsing the hatred of blacks. And then as the KKK got worse and worse, they acted like it wasn't their fault?
History can repeat itself, and I, after seeing what has been going on in Atlanta these past few days always get a little scared when these types of anti-gay folks keep getting more and more radical with their rhetoric.
I will defend their rights to say and scream what they want. But, one has to be wary of the direction it could end up going in. |

I hate to admit it, but if those guys ever showed up at a funeral for any friend or family member of mine who happened to be killed in action... somebody is getting an ass-kicking. Even if its me getting whooped, there would be some knuckles flying.

The latest from Phelps and his band uf buggerers is that all US casualties in Iraq are because the US tolerates homosexuals.
He could care less if the dead soldier who's funeral he desecrates was a Bush loving republican heterosexual or not.

I'm inclined to wish that these sickos were sent over to Iraq to do a little mine clearing themselves, see how they like NOT living in the country they so dislike, I wonder how much crap they'd spew while having a few mortar shells or mines going off in their faces. They should have to risk their own lives in a situation they seem to think is great for punishing others. They certainly are prasitic to use the death of anyone to try and further their own agenda. Scumbags. |

I myself, am waiting for Phelps to wheeze his last, phlem-rattling breath. Then I'm thinking of organizing a God Hates 'Phobes rally at his funeral. We can conclude it with a highlight of mass grave-pissing and erect a monument headlining how long the fucker's been in oblivian.
I'm hoping he'll bring his act to NC. Lots military, lots of vets, here in the Tarheel....

Last I heard, he was protesting US deaths as devine retailiation for his church being bombed six years ago. The sick, twisted fuck thinks he's justified in these protests.
Lessee, he pickets homosexual people's funeral, tries to get a statue commemorating Matthew Shepard's murder in his home town which proclaimed the murdered man entered Hell for being a homosexual and he doesn't think it might piss some people off. Now he want's to piss off some people who might have better aim. |

I think his inspiration for this sick campaign is probably the decline in press coverage he's had since his abominable behavior at the Matt Shepard funeral.
Some people will do *anything* to get into the news. |

In a way, Phelps being able to speak his mind has only one benefit. The more he spews his crap, the more he exposes himself for what he is, as well described by the posters in this thread. Hopefully he may have an effect of turning some people off of religion who otherwise might not consider it, one can hope.

In my experience, these types of cretins usually keep going and going. Although an invite out to your neck of the woods might do the trick, maybe during a memorial day celebration.

I just love watching people like this. They are a human melt-down. They have no end-game to their idea.
I mean, what IS Phelps attempting to accomplish? It makes zero sense. Is he trying to protest the war? Is he trying to protest gays? Is he trying to piss off everyone equally? Is he protesting God, for punishing us? Is he trying to say we should send the Homosexuals into the war?
What would make someone like that happy? There is no 'agenda', it is like protest and pissing people off, for the sake of protesting and pissing people off. |
