As free as history tells us. When the declaration of independence was signed, you know, when this country was founded by the "four fathers". You know, the ones that were "escaping" religious persecution.

Possibly you mean forefathers. The forefathers who founded the United States were not escaping religious persecution, but primarily were trying to escape an economically repressive monarchy ("no taxation without representation" etc.)

The people from England who first arrived on this continent some one hundred years prior to the Declaration of Independence (i.e. Pilgrims) were the ones escaping religious persecution (among other things).

Edited: added "primarily were" to first paragraph.

Now I am skeptical of your claims of attending a university....

Bwahahahahahahahahaha!

You don't even know the difference between the Plymouth Pilgrims and the Founding Fathers.

My working hypothesis has taken a rather dramatic shift with this new information. It is now that HYBRID is a kid who is failing his American History classes in high school.

This hypothesis explains the above quote, the fact that HYBRID refuses to divulge the information about his anonymous "professors," and the fact that he refuses to examine detailed web sites (he doesn't have time to read him, as he's too busy getting pasted by his friends while playing Half Life).

Ah, and I see on preview that others have formed this hypothesis, as well...

You skeptics are so worried about pointing out every little word I say instead of the point. Yes I know what you are talking about. I was talking about the people who founded, settled, and set up the constitution, declaration of independence etc. in general. I wasn't talking about just anyone of those in particular. I think you know what I was trying to say, don't get smart and ask stupid ass irrelavent questions. But do you get me though?

First of all, you people here are really no one in relation to me. I don't have to impress any of you.Any negative feelings you have for me, could give a rat's ass.I should not have to explain what I meant in that statement, because if you really think that is what I meant, and not the general terms I was speaking, than sorry for you. You are too hell bent on some angle, instead of trying to get where I am coming from, and that is okay if you want to do that. But if I truly like you say, did not go to school, and not a history major, and whatever else you say, then ignore me. If I am a liar, then go pay attention to someone else then, that simple. Now either answer the questions, or move on.

Why should anyone here answer your questions? You've refused, numerous times, to answer our questions. You get what you give, kid.

And I wasn't being a "wise ass," I was being serious. This new hypothesis explains so much of your behaviour, and so well, that it tells me that I've got to treat you differently than I had been. After all, the idea that you're an adult who's theoretically capable of reasoned discourse is clearly incorrect. It makes more sense to treat you as a kid with a huge chip on your shoulder, since that's what you appear to be.

And no, I've got no idea of what you were trying to say. You were asked for more information about the "Mystery Schools," and your question in reply seems to say that the origins of them were sometime between 1620 and 1776, which, from my knowledge of "Mystery Schools" is far too young.

Besides which, what does the "freedom" of the United States have to do with origanizations which originated in Europe, centuries before anyone settled in the New World?

Finally, I'm willing to bet your question was rhetorical, anyway, and any answer given will simply be met by scorn from you. That's another old trick that kids like you have the arrogance to think has never been tried before.

You know what, I have come to a conclusion that from my point of view, most of you are closeminded assholes. But more than that, you try to be slick about it. YOu insult people first, and then when they defend themselves you say they are acting childish. Treat me different? YOu can kiss my ass.Mystery schools too young? YOu guys, and I really mean this, ARE NOT EVEN ON MY LEVEL, Period. I can't even say it any better than that.

So you keep talking about irrelevant shit, ego ostroking eachother, and waiting for the same people to protect you from terrorists, that created them, and ultimately keep you in bondage and further their agenda because you care about irrelavent shit, and can't see how robotic and unqeustioning your thinking has become. Its not worth proving anything to you. You are not going to be convinced of anything. You generalize so many things it is very scary, but funny. My point was that slave master killing indians wrighting a declaration of independence about freedom is a slight conradiction, that was my point. But you are too busy worried about some shit my 9 year old neice knows, I won't even spend anytime on that religious persection shit, that was just an insult.

Yes, you do need to explain what you mean if you want to be understood by those to whom you speak. If all the other people involved in a discussion understand terms and phrases to have certain agreed upon meanings, and you are the only one who has some alternative, and in many cases convoluted notion about the meanings of those terms, the burden rests on you alone to change your method of communication. That is, and we all seem to have much doubt about this, if you wish to be understood.

And I agree with the others: You've provided overwhelming evidence that you're somewhere between eleven and fifteen years old. It seems likely you have near failing grades in several of the required subjects at the junior high school you attend. Ahhhhh, what joy, the kids are out of school for the summer.

I don't think I could say it any better than that either! If there has been one absolutely true, inarguable comment made by this delusional noise making child, that was it.

Oh I am a child now, this must be the new insult designed to make me angry. Well ARRGGHH, I am mad. Happy? The problem is not just me, its also all of you.In conversation, if you ARE willing to learn, or be open to open minded converstations, you have to give a little, and look from a nuetral point of view, which you have already said you will NOT do, so what is my point?

More ad hom. And purile at that.

I agree with Dude and Dave, you are nothing more than a child with one big chip on your shoulder. Can't answer questions put to you without resorting to personal attacks. Demand respect when you have given none. Classic troll activity.

Curiosity compells me to ask why you think that dickwaving means that you have a small one and/or are gay? Dickwaving means showing undue bravado or arrogance. But thanks for underscoring the futility of trying to have a reasoned discussion with you.
