Have any of you heard of the Skeptics Toolbox? http://www.skepticstoolbox.org/
It's an annual, 4 day skeptical event, that usually takes place at the Univ of Oregon in mid August, the brainchild of Ray Hyman - psychologoist, magician, renaissance guy. While it takes place at UofO, it is its own event, sponsored by Center for Inquiry [which brings you the Skeptical Inquirer]
I just went last weekend, for my 3rd time, and it was totally fun! There were over 70 paying attendees. There are lectures, small-group classes, videos, and Jerry Andrus' illusions.
Most of the Skeptics stay in the dorms and eat at the cafeteria, so there are plenty of opportunities for socializing with skeptics, too.
