Just more trolling. You know that Cassini went around the Sun twice so that it would not use fuel.
bigbrain: how much fuel can Cassini carry?
Oh, did Sputnik orbit the Earth many times or not? |

Cassini has used much fuel to oppose to gravity force of the sun.

Ignore him and he might go away. This is what? The fifth thread on the same topic, and he refuses to open his mind to the possibility that he is not all-knowing or that gravity miht not actually push things away. |

Nah, he's just having fun -- I doubt that even he is as much of a numskull as he would have us believe. I think he's trying to goad someone into going off on him like Voldemort with a hangover, and thus, I have conducted myself with admirable restraint. Sometimes it ain't been easy, but my will is firm and my strength is as of ten because my heart is pure. quote: Cassini has used much fuel to oppose to gravity force of the sun.
But bigbreakbrainballs, I must ask: how much fuel was required to oppose that gravity and what are your references? Also, how many pickled eggs, chips, and hog-head cheese sandwiches were consumed at NASA during the manuver and at what cost to the taxpayer?

But, you said it's mass was so small that the gravitational force from the Sun would be negligible, and Cassini could go from Earth to Saturn in a straight line. You can't have it both ways.

YOU said the gravitational force from the sun is relevant, then Cassini has used much fuel not to fall down into the sun. It would have been able to go directly to Saturn using its fuel to increase velocity going away from the sun.

Do you think this image is real?

NO = You are enough intelligent. YES = You are very stupid.

I'm no expert; but that looks a lot like a fisheye from the Mars Rover. Or is it called a fisheye when its the other way around? I misremember. |

Yeah, it's a fisheye lens. The "other way around," a very narrow field of view, is provided by telephoto and other "long" lenses. |

Hey, little guy, look at the shadows. Where is the sun? Are there two suns in our solar system?

I think you are right. The shadows of both the rover and the rocks are pretty much consistant with an overhead sun.
Perhaps b is concerned with what looks like a glow on the horizon. I seem to recall reading that, as the sky of Mars in not blue, it's thin atmosphere will give off a reflected glow if viewed from the right angle. Don't know how true that is, just passing it along.
