my bad if I missinterpreted the position of filthy's dad or bill
Correct interpretation of my dad's position. But I'm not filthy, I'm marfknox. ;-)

I've only been able to catch the show about two times. Not all of it though. Trust me, you'd fall asleep trying to listen to it. The part I heard, if that's an example of the way it usualy goes, was so boring I wouldn't want to know what the rest of it sounds like. |

If you like the site now, too bad you hadn't seen it when it was good, way back when. Kil is the only one of the originators of the site that posts regularly. Unless I've missed some of @tomics posts. So other than Filthy a long time poster, no one else that posts now was here then (from the very beginning). (Dawn, where are you?) It really was better. There are many here now who don't understand much and can't see beyond their own little minds. Not everyone, but enough to bring it down a notch. But have fun anyway! I do. |

My dad died a long time ago. I never knew him well, so I can't say what his position and opinions on homosexuality might have been. quote: So your dad is uncomfortable with homosexuality but yet at the same time he does not mind your brother spending the night with gays and rallys for homosexual domestic partner causes? What was I thikng, what is there to misinterpret here? *sigh*
Hey Bill, what concern is it of yours? Marf's dad's attitude is his own, and, like it or not, none of anyone's business save his own.
And what the hell is your problem with gays, anyway? Seems like, sooner or later, you toss a little queer-baiting into every thread you involve yourself in, and it's getting pretty dull. I'm starting to think that it's pathological....
Don't you ever have anything constructive to add?

Air America has a couple of good programs but a couple I'd like them to drop. And you all know my politics I presume. Al Frankin's show is good. He repeats himself a bit and all the shows have too many commercials but Frankin brings on a lot of guests and discusses a lot of current events with supported facts that expose a lot of crap.
Then there is my favorite show which is on our local Air America but not on the national stations, that is Stephanie Miller. Her show is really funny. It's never boring. I laugh all morning as she makes fun of idiots, liars and thieves.
Jerry Springer's show on the weekends is good. Sam Ceder, Ed Schultz and a few of the rest are OK but not great.
I absolutely hate Mike Malloy and Randi Rhodes can be as bad at times. I don't listen to either of those programs. They both just have a running dialog with themselves, mostly whining and screaming. I don't need someone to tell me what I already know unless they are going to add something new to it or make it funny. I would say those two are the left wing equivalents of O'Reilly and Limbaugh except without the lies and stupidity. |
