I think the idea that 100% of the people who mourn the victims of attacks on terrorists become terrorists themselves is little more than political hyperbole. There are better ways to make the point than to stretch the truth beyond belief.

You're right, Marf, stuff like this is precisely the reason that politics needs to be dicussed skeptically.

All that said, I found that if I focused my efforts on one corner of the "simulation," I could generally kill people with impunity while avoiding a long-term increase in the number of terrorists. Lesson learned: if you're going to use imprecise weapons to blow up terrorists, do it where the population density is low.

It takes a minute to notice the crying people turning into terrorists.

Think we can make them all terrorists at some point? Then what HH, bigger faster weapons? I think that's what the Israelis are still working on.
