Let me congratulate you for ALMOST doing the right thing for the country and, likely, yourself, unless you have lots of assets that need protecting by the GOP (which is the only thing that party does); or if you feel superior to other ethnicities and people who have less material goods, education and intelligence than you.
If those "qualities" are part of your make up, then you get a pass in America.
If you DON'T have those traits and DIDN'T vote for Kerry, the chances of your being pretty fucked-up are pretty good.
In that case, I offer my condolences.
OY!
I offer my condolences for your stunning assumptions based on total ignorance of my character, beliefs, and history.
It's amazing what has been assumed about me from the moment I first began posting on this forum.
This is not impressing me as a skeptic's forum.
Some of you remind me of a White Nationalist on Stormfront who assumed I was Jewish because of the way I used commas.

beskeptigal, in all seriousness, have you read the WCW site? Because if your agenda is the removal of Republicans from office and replacing them with Democrats, then you are in direct opposition to the WCW agenda.

For those who think it would have been better for America for Kerry to have won, you, too, are in direct opposition of the WCW agenda.

Oh, and welcome to Luke as well.
I don't find the need to vilify anyone. I just point out what they do. Bush is a murderer. Clinton is one as well.
Like I said, I stand beside people who don't want Bush to murder any more people. Some of them have come to that conclusion because they think Jesus doesn't want people to kill other people. Should I tell them to get out of my rally because they believe in such superstition, or would it be better if I recognize that it's possible that they have some reason mixed in with superstition, and for once reason won out over superstition?
I welcome the communists. At least most of them have sense enough to be atheists.
Again, I'm not calling you a loonie or a fool, but at least those that you call loonies and fools recognize that Bush is a criminal. Why don't you? |

Bush out!
Is that all you heard?
Read their site.
And read their parent organization's site: http://revcom.us/

quote: Quickly. Hundreds of thousands, indeed millions, need to take up active opposition to this regime. As the website of World Can't Wait states, “There is time, but there is very little time.” Things are moving very fast. In this light, we call on our readers to more than ever take up the call of World Can't Wait, struggle with others to come forward, and to continue to go forward in this next crucial period to help realize its aims.
RCP home page.
Help WCW "realize its aims."
Hmmmmm.
Elect a Democrat?
No.

I don't see the RCP site supporting the aims of the Democratic Party anywhere. But they plug the hell out of WCW.
Get it yet?

The RCP view of the Democratic Party: http://rwor.org/a/032/slumber-party-democrats.htm
quote: The Democratic Party understands that many of you might be concerned that a simple slumber party may not be enough to deter Bush. Let us allay those fears. With our strategy of nationwide house parties on January 31, we can meet Bush's lies with even more powerful complaints. Respond to his ongoing crimes with inventive party games. And counter each and every step to institute a bible-based police state by planning to have an even more super party next year!
Remember. Why join with thousands of others demanding that Bush Step Down and participate in messy, disruptive, activities that could even possibly upset the status quo – when you have the incredible opportunity to simply do nothing in the quiet comfort and privacy of your own home! We know which option we like. How about you?
This invitation is brought to you by the DEMOCRATIC PARTY: Rolling Over and Playing Dead Never Felt Better!
You see that? Here the idea to "join with thousand of others demanding Bush Step Down" is clearly shown to be a completely separate agenda having nothing to do with the Democratic Party. It is the RCP agenda with different aims.

They're right. Because the Democrats reserve the right to do the same things as Bush in order to stay in power. |

It would be interesting to see the reaction of WCW organizers if participants brought signs that said "Elect A Democrat Now!"

Unless you think everyone should vote in the Communist slate, then you have nothing in common with WCW except that you want Bush out.

I find it very insulting to Cuba to even put them in the same sentence and context in this way. Cuba is actually communist, and has plenty of good things to brag about, even if there are also many very bad aspects of the Castro government. North Korea has absolutely nothing redemable about it and the idea that it is a communist nation is a joke. It is a vicious 1984-style dictatorship. Anybody who sings the praises of NK loses all credibility with informed people. I am unfamiliar with the communist movement - do they actually sing the praises of NK?
I haven't forgotten your question. Don't know if you took my advice to look into ANSWER and IAC and their stance on North Korea.
So here you go:
quote: Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Worker's World Party of the United States headed by Brian Becker, member of its secretariat, yesterday visited the Pyongyang mission of the National Democratic Front of South Korea (NDFSK). Pak Kwang Gi, chief of the mission, at the meeting, expressed thanks to the Worker's World Party of the United States for having extended support and solidarity to the NDFSK in its struggle for independence, democracy and reunification and informed the delegation of the South Korean people's struggle against the U.S. and fascism and for democracy and national reunification. The head of the delegation recalled that the party has struggled against the military dictatorship in South Korea and the U.S. forces' occupation of South Korea and evinced its determination to further strengthen support and solidarity to the Korean people's struggle for national reunification. That day the delegation visited the family of Jong Song Ok, world "queen of marathon."
http://www.kcna.co.jp/item/2000/200002/news02/24.htm
Brian Becker was, maybe still is, the director of both International ANSWER, and the International Action Center.
Here is a pro-North Korea page in IAC's site: http://www.iacenter.org/Koreafiles/korea-petition-rept1.htm
quote: Tens of thousands say “Hands Off Korea!”
In response to growing tensions between the DPRK and the United States, activists in the U.S. have launched a national U.S. Hands Off Korean Campaign.
These are the folks who have organized the largest anti-Iraq-war protests in the U.S.

That's a fine question for which I do not have an answer.
If you have two buckets of horseshit, one red and one blue, which do you want to use to wash a wound? The answer has something to do with a better way to wash wounds and little to do with colored buckets.
It is the system that is corrupt. We need to change the system, and not continue to validate it. That much the Communists and Socialists know. |
