CNN (I know, Dave) notes in this story that "the benefits of coordinated action around the world to tackle global warming will greatly outweigh any financial costs." This was always an argument I thought to be correct, and was never convinced by the big-business crowd/Bush admin cronies that taking steps to stop it would bring dire economic consequences. Indeed, in this study it seems that the opposite is the case.

Now, if only we (the US, anyhow) could have some people in office who would listen!!
