Well done, Kil! May I use it? Maybe we should record it and you can make it the background music for SFN when we log on...

I occasionally have these thoughts, too, but finally decided it doesn't matter. I'm taking no pay, I'm making mom happy, and I'm doing something I enjoy. Faulty reasoning, perhaps, but I'll stand by it.

When I can hold the bible up to skeptical analysis When I can tell the big bang from a tale that's told in Genesis When I know that abduction is more likely sleep paralysis And I can tell from evidence what's real from tests and common sense
When I can tell a theory from what's simply hypothetical When I can tell a scam from something worthy and more practical When I know that a future can't be foretold astrological And I can tell a Nessy from a log, a boat or macaral
In short in matters animal or vegetable or mineral I am the very model of a skeptic evangelical

Thanks! Well, I don't know if this is good news but I feel sufficiently inspired to do a more complete version... Oy. And of course, use it anyway you want to.

I've sung in choir the beautiful requiem masses of Verdi and other composers in church, but for a public audience. For some reason composers really knock themselves out when they write requiems. Always felt a little embarrased, as if I had been caught phoning a psychic. Glad I'm in good company. I can now refer to my guilty pleasure without shame.
