Hey CM :) Nice to see another expatriate over here :) lol
As you may have noticed this has evolved into our "BA Rant" folder :) Since Phil has unbelivable restraint, lol. So we say all the rude things about trolls over here...

I haven't been to the board to see Piper's reply to Megan yet. Just came back from her house, there's a party going on over there. I'll be headed back because a)I'm good friends with her parents, and b)there's beer left.
I saw her post when I went over. She posted it after I took some time to try and explain Mr. Piper. She was pissed because he sort of butted in on a thread she started. She had asked a question, folks were answering her, and then Piper had to put in his two cents. He should realize things are bad when he starts getting flames from 14 year olds.
Welcome aboard CM. Bout damn time.

Think it's good of the BA to keep our noses clean, and that all us good guys want it that way too.
That b.h. character, who was _that_ guy?...some kind of ectoplasmic infarction? Ha!

Lisa, you have a fine young friend with Megan. Both you guys keep up the good work. It's a good sign when kids ask the question why a lot; then for them to continue that the rest of their lives. Also to have the intelligence for mid-course corrections. That's the mark of a true learner.

Hey folks...I think that "ccavera" has scooped us all..."finding" that face in the map of Florida
with him and Megan on the side of intelligent thought, maybe Piper and Jack and hb and the rest will be able to buy a clue.
However...rubysue's caution to Megan may be something you want to reinforce, Lisa...what we don't need is for her to take some of Piper's spewings seriously.

Funny, funny with the Florida face. Wonder if that face is Anita Bryant? Naa...too dated.
Guess your on summer break now? I have a number of friends in the education field. My 10th grade nephew was involved with a "hoax"
debate last month - on the proApollo side. I fed him the BA site. Said the debate went pretty well, considering he didn't have all the angles/science memorized. Whatever happens, I think a lot of people will be the better for it.
Like the "new" Kansas Board of Education said, after the creationist's vote was booted out and science reinstilled in the classrooms, "We'll be having better science programs in all of our schools because of this attention."

yeah, CM, summer break...way too much time on my hands until I find a temp job

Hi Megan, I was in your nice city up north just a couple of years ago. I drove thru, from camping at the Badlands, to the State Game Lodge for a few nice relaxing days. I'll never forget how clear and dark the night skys were at the Badlands and areas of the Black Hills. Wished I had them here in Austin, Texas for star gazing.
