I definitely know that I am not religious; maybe it is because religion kind of angers me. Who is it to tell me how I should or shouldn't behave? However, I feel that my morals are basically O.K and as long as I can look at myself in the mirror and say "You're doing O.K. big guy" then that is fine by me. Some people may need religion to "Strike the fear of God" into them so they behave appropriately, but that isn't my family, my friends or myself. We are all levelheaded human beings, albeit with a penchant for a little too much beer, coffee and the occasional “funny cigar”.

See? is an easy trick.
Some people can't understand or place them selfs in a single belief or way of thinking, how a little program can? In reality there is no way to classify a persons belief or thinking, not at all.
That Belief-O-Matic it's only for fun and nothing more.

Ok, it told me that I'm a "Unitarian Universalist", which I don't buy in the least (especially after reading their definition of one).
I'm less than impressed, though slightly amused.

I'm an agnostic.
They say that an agnostic is nothing but an athiest without the courage of his convictions. Well, that might sound pretty good, but I've found that the older I get, the fewer convictions I have.

Since it has no real structure or core beliefs, it applies 100% to all theistic points of view. It would be more accurate to focus on #'s 2-4 for theism. According to the quiz, I am 94% Reformist Judism, 91% Quaker, and 91% Neo-Paganism. Now that's a scary combination. The problem I have is that it does not take into account mythos in the selection process. (does not apply to agnostics for which mythos makes no sense.)

I dont really think that this was a way for people to actually find out what they really believe in, and Im sure that most will agree. I also think that if they really wanted this to be um... *real*... then they should ask a bucket load more questions and gone into great detail. Well, Im sure that there are many ways to make this little quiz thingy better.

Must have been the little prioritys thing. I placed the existance of God on 'low priority'....maybe if choose 'high'..oh well, at least 'Secular Humanism' clocked in at number two.
But, the damn thing assigns a higher probability to 'Liberal Protestant' and 'Liberal Quacker' than to athiest.
Right, off to do, umm, athiestic things.

No, I won't. Heck, I got Atheist @ 100% my first try.  I even went through and did the test again without clicking on the importance thing. IOW, just left them at "Moderate". Same answers. Just a question, though: Did you click on all the last answers or did you actually read the answers? I did it again and clicked on all the last ones and I got a different result tham before.

This is sooo humiliating.
But, I have come to the conclusion that being a true athiest, good and pure, has only to do with what is in your heart. No score, no test, nothing can take that away from me!
Anyways, I re-took it. (Oh dear, I am perpetuating the stereotype about women and surveys). It is working now.
The thing was, it interpeted my moral imperetives as religious ones.
Bullshit! I won't be punished for my actions, but I want to live an ethical life. That is perfectly fucking compatible with athiesm.
