Indeed. I suspect that Phelps, Dobson, Perkins, and the rest of that foul ilk would welcome the appearance of a neo-Hitler with open arms.
They came for the queers but I am not a queer, so I did nothing. Then they came for the socialists but I am not a socialist, so I did nothing.
