The next time that some theist asks why you argue against religion, this video should set things straight and should shoot down any idiotic ideas of theirs about atheists being bothered by god or whatnot.

Basically, to sum the video up: atheists shouldn't leave theists alone because theists actions affect all of us.

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

Nicely summarized. Those are indeed the reasons that atheists must not be silent in the face of persecution and fundamentalist domination. This is our time to come out, and speak out.

Indeed, I joined the local chapter of the Atheists; Agnostics and Free Thinkers Association recently because I was tired of seeing atheists being disparaged and prejudiced upon.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

Very well done! The only thing I object to is the musicalisation, unless she wanted to add a tint of humour. But´s that my opinion and obviously doesn´t mean crap!

I looked over several of the adds over the week-end.

None of her arguments is particularly new or enlightening but it is always nice to see them repeated by an smart attractive young woman in front of a cleavage-high webcam...

Well, she can reach an audience that a bunch of crusty old guys can't!

Nothing to scoff at there.

She is rather cute too.... Where the hell are all the women my age with that worldview? LOL!

Well, damnit, air out your spare room and stock up the pantry! You can expect me next week!

No doubt I would blend into the population there, right up until I started speaking anyway.
