Sorry I couldn't help with this one. I live near the approach to an airport, so I mostly only identify aircraft from underneath!

I have to correct. They are not P 3 Orions. They are Ilyushin 38. I can see how you would think they are Orions. They look very similar even in a photo. However, the one on the runway is a P-3. You are correct about that one. Also, when you find out the name of this airbase, tell me please. Thanks. |

You are correct, but if you read the posts sequentially, you'll see that's what I was saying: They aren't P3's. The name of the aircraft and the air base (both Russian) are given above. |

Can you tell me the name of this airbase? And also the plane that is similar to the P-3 is the Il-38. |
