The death penalty is not the solution, nor is some morbid obsession with removing testes. It’s really quite simple. The most important part of law and order should be the protection of society and the most vulnerable in society are the small and the weak. So sexual offences against children in particular must result in incarceration for a first offence and life sentences for a second. Rape of an adult, largely the same.
There is no cure for pedophilia and long-term studies have concluded that when such people are psychopaths they can only be made worse, not better. They have to be sent to prison for life, not because we are vindictive but because we know they will reoffend. |

Awe-inspiring hypocrisy! After all the effort Coren has put into the hopeless defense of his Vatican-enabled (and incurable, by Coren's definition) pedophile priest buddies, he surely must be enormously confounded by cognitive dissonance.
