and listening to Kil tells me that Israel has won the propaganda war.

How? Please point to something other than your lack of reading comprehension skills that would support such a position.

What is there about a reasonable discussion do you have a problem with?

and these people were not asking to be shot.

True, but they were aware that being shot might be a consequence of this trip. At least Gretta Duysenberg did, a prominent dutch woman who helped organize the flotilla.

These people were not asking to be murdered in international waters.

Nobody said they were. But they were provoking a reaction and they knew this would be dangerous. Paraphrasing Gretta Duysenberg, they knew some of them might not be coming back.
Once shot, they were not refusing medical treatment.

Irrelevant.

The Israelis have won.

Bullshit, they lost this propaganda part. Don't you follow the news?

Where are you holding a reasonable discussion? Throughout this thread you have twisted what Kil said. That does not fall under the header "reasonable discussion".

But let me rephrase this again, how does what Kil said in this thread indicate that Israel won this propaganda part?

Answer my question. Why do you feel the need to be insulting just for the sake of insult? Do you think your argument has no merit?

You have, throughout this thread, twisted Kil's words. Why should I not respond to that? Reading this thread, it became clear to me that reasoned responses by Kil and Dave W. failed to accurately represent them. So perhaps snarkiness / sarcasm would work. That you feel insulted by that is your problem.

Now can you answer the question? How does what Kil said in this thread indicate that Israel won this propaganda part?

What do you want to say with this link that is contrary to what anybody here said or even relevant?

Yeah. Like I said, you have no argument.

I never said I had an argument, I asked a question for you to clarify yourself. I explained my reasoning for phrasing it in a way that you find insulting.

Kil said the flotilla [edited]was meant to provoke[/edited] a reaction. All sources and reasoning indicate that he was right. Kil also said Israel strongly overreacted. That, as far as I can see, is also true. Which part of these positions indicates that Israel won the propaganda war?

Again, relevance to the discussion?

Look at the opening post. This is a thread about a certain incident, which you'll find out about when you read the opening post.

Discussion was on the legitimacy of the Israeli reaction, on whether the reaction was provoked or not and whether saying it is provoked is à priori a negative towards the flotilla.

Currently everyone agrees that the Israelis overreacted. In fact, that was everyone's opinion from the beginning. How are your links meant to add anything to the discussion?

If you're not trying to advance an argument with them, fine. To me that always comes across as spamming, but that may just be me.
