Fripp.....

This has got to be the most godawful boring thread. The frickin' nitpicking over the most inane inconsequential points.
So why pay any attention to it? Do you read the phone book for amusement?

Dude....

You can't not respond to provocation
the only thing you respond to is the provocation.
Dude, you're dead-on correct! I just can't resist the targets you so reliably provide. Like the above masterpiece of on-topic elucidation. If you can't write about your own choice of subject, why should I?

So I should also add a failure to comprehend what a forum is for to the list of things you don't seem to understand? In that post I was chiding you for responding only to the provocations. Honestly, I don't care if you engage in the infighting as long as you also engage the topic. If all you want to do is get into pissing contests, maybe you should just go hang out at 4chan.

Becuase i can, number one. Number two, the OP is a good one. Number three, anytime I see a topic labeled "HOT" that has run 7 pages, curiosity gets the better of me. Sometimes, I like to see if one of our resident idiots (bill scott for example) has decided to prove that he is a complete fucking moron. Number four, I thought it matter to you how you are coming across, especially to a completely impartial observer.

Maybe I'm wacky, but I actually like to know what the opinions of outside observers are; i.e. "Am I making sense? Is my viewpoint contributing to the discussion? Am I making salient points? Are my contributions even interesting?"

I always try to remember that "the one common factor to all your dysfunctional relationships is you".

But I can see that, because I criticized you, now I'm "wrong" as well and I have become another one of your nemeses/nemesi here. But that's not exactly an exclusive club.

"What the hell is an Aluminum Falcon?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought my Dark Lord of the Sith could protect a small thermal exhaust port that's only 2-meters wide! That thing wasn't even fully paid off yet! You have any idea what this is going to do to my credit?!?!"

"What? Oh, oh, 'just rebuild it'? Oh, real [bleep]ing original. And who's gonna give me a loan, jackhole? You? You got an ATM on that torso LiteBrite?"
