What you think is wrong. The burden of proof is on the claimant. In the case of apes evolving from humans, the claimant is you. All we've been doing is pointing out the obvious problems you're having with interpreting what Lovejoy was saying.
And the qualifications thing is still an ad hominem fallacy. It attacks the critic, and not the critique. |

How would posting a key discovery by Dr Lovejoy involve providing a burden of proof beyond the actual recorded facts and commentary. What was provided what the entire documented discovery.
How does showing Dawkins does not have a degree in Theology nor attended an seminaries and therefor cannot be expected to be a scholar in the subject. The proof is in his qualification.. He is as shown a ethologist, evolutionary biologist, author. Nowhere does it say he is a Biblical scholar. Clinton Richard Dawkins, FRS, FRSL (born 26 March 1941), known as Richard Dawkins, is a British ethologist, evolutionary biologist.

No, Lovejoy isn't saying that all apes evolved from humans. He never has. You have, and when challenged on it, you just point to Lovejoy again. But he's not here to tell you how wrong you are. Because you're incapable of attacking Dawkins' ideas, you resort to attacking his credentials, as if someone who is uncredentialed cannot possibly have a correct idea. It's a classic ad hominem. And the fact that you're trying to defend it as good thinking strips you of whatever credibility you might have had left as a skeptic or critical thinker. |

He's been attacked in exactly the same way you're attacking him: without discussing his actual ideas, and instead going after his lack of credentials. It's a dumb way to argue no matter how qualified a person allegedly is. |

Come on DaveW lets be real here. I stumbled on SFN while chasing a TROLL who turned up as MG and CRUX in more recent memory. The truth is my being here was all an accident.
This is the smallest group of unintelligent people I have ever addressed in a forum setting.
If it got any smaller. One would only have to check the box which asked. Do you want your post directed at a cunt or a prick?
I count 5 participants. The forum with the least number of intelligent people and the most number of moderators and admins to keep those unintelligent people in line.
