Eh, restless...up for a bit of wine; and I saw Boron 10 snooping around here briefly. Thought I'd throw him out a pork chop bone to see if he'd post.

Filthy's dry humor/witticisms are sure missed, along with others here. Hope they're all well and skeptical as ever. |

Oh I'm still around. This site finally got blocked at work so I had to find other ways to screw off.
I have been concerned about Halfmooner for months. I am a worry-wart though. |

Well, I managed to find HalfMooner's full real name, but no obits or any other indication of him online in the last six months. |

| Six months does not cover the total amount of time since he has last posted, that's incomplete. In his profile it states he,,, "Last Posted On: 4/11/2011 4:25:04". A search of a 6 month window leaves room that one could run an aircraft carrier through, 3 months big. Not to mention it shows he's not in the data base searched which may be incomplete. That's a good start but we could go further if we choose. We have his name and a valid concern for his well being. He's an American living in the Philippines. He stopped posting, out of character for him. He missing in my book. There are people who don't feel comfortable about his absence. Would it be a good idea that an inquiry be made with the US or Philippines authorities about his wearabouts? Possibly the US embassy over there and there's also the local police at Camp 7's of the Philippine National Police in his neighborhood. I would think that someone or those interested collectively could contact the local police where he lives and see what help they could provide. I'm sure they have Email in the police station. I could look into it. Any thoughts? |

I just signed up at the Bay Area Atheist, which I posted about on the first page. Looked up Halfmooner there...he hadn't visited there in over a year. Crud. There looks to be a few other sites that Googles-up with (maybe) our Halfmooner's name. I'll give them a try, see what the cat drags up. |

I'm not of the worried camp, too infrequently involved here to have developed any deep relationships yet, and people duck out of blogs, webs intertubes for 6 or more months for all sorts of reasons. However I am maybe geographically closest and if there is any advantage you who are worried think that would give you please let me know. While I have no dog in the hunt, I do live to serve. |

Yes. I really did appreciate Mooner's contributions to SFN. Any information you might be able to dig out of the Philippine Islands relevant to Mooner would be appreciated by many here. |

He sleeps late and I am an early bird so I have not tried to reach him yet. The last time we were in contact he spoke of a trip to another island so I am sure his health is good. There were so many questions about him that I decided to join and post he is alive… |
