Hat tip to Dangerous Minds.

This was supposed to be a real magazine, created by a band of young hipsters including "Middle-aged Fox News reporters and former Family Research Council and Heritage Foundation employees!" But I now find that links from Dangerous Minds to "The Conservative Teen" Web site that worked for me a few days ago are all either dead or are diverted to the Texas SPCA. Maybe some typical deadbeat conservative moochers neglected to pay their hosting fees...

[Edit: I should have mentioned this at first. I altered the following graphic by changing much of the text. Original at link above.]

If it's not yours or The Onions you both have competition. Come on "How Book-Burning Works p.24" that's to up front and honest, not their work IMO.

There are only two types of religious people, the deceivers and the deceived. SS

Mine was the changed text, but the original was funny enough. See original cover at the link in the OP.

Even though he is just out of focus, why does he seem to have as much makeup on as she does?

Just a few boring technical notes: Changing text on a image from the Web may sound easy, but if it's printed over a background image, it can be a bear to remove the original text and fill in the erased background. Slow work.

Then there's the problem of finding matching fonts. I found that "Rockwell" was the blocky serif font that was the main one I was replacing (the typeface used in "BLUE EYES AND EMPTY BLOND HEADS"). Luckily I had that font, once I finally identified it.

Then, after I'd finished all the text, I had to blur what I'd added, to make it match the look of the parts if the remaining enlarged original text.
