You did all that with Wingdings? Damn clever, Half.

Your have set high expectations.

Good luck!

What a man believes upon grossly insufficient evidence is an index into his desires -- desires of which he himself is often unconscious. If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way. - Bertrand Russell

I'm worried that Webb and Ling Ding live in a future world where global warming is so bad that the seas are dehydrating so quickly that fish are left stranded and highways can be built across the hyper-saline waters.

I do, however, long for the anti-gravity device in use by that Man in Black.

Thanks, folks. Yes, aside from the speech balloons and the text, that was all WebDings, though I intend to try other "graphic" fonts. I never much used those fonts before, until this idea occurred a couple days ago.

Yeah, Dave, there are some strange props and people in Dingville. The Man in Black ought to loan his device to Wheelchair Guy.

Actually, I just remembered that I used two Webdings characters in an old puzzle of mine, "What's the secret word?."

Our old, archived puzzle thread can be found here (beware of spoilers).

Well, I just now spent a few hours downloading freeware dingbat fonts of all sorts. One that I can't so far find is "Dingbats" itself. Now the big test: Can I do anything with this stuff?

Wow, good catch! It's so tiny, I doubted anyone would notice that.

Thanks, I'll watch out for that. And now, also for the Dr. Suess mob.
