Look at it this way Rift,...maybe we're seeing a Van Gogh incarnate. His pics ARE getting more and more bizarre/detached.
And speaking of razors of the un-Ocham's type, - to follow suit, we'll soon be seeing Hoagland sporting a "one-ear" look sometime soon!........C'V'*

Rift, in response to your question in the other folder: this belongs in both places. People who aren't on the BA board may avoid that folder. Pablum like this needs to be debunked in any forum you can find!

Indeed, this is a malignant growth and we have to bring out the heavy stuff: nothing less than Occam's Guillotine will do for Hoaxland.
"Occamsguillotine" was, in fact, one of my aol screen-names back when I was still putting up with aol. I used to get instant messages from outraged paranutalists asking if it was a threat. I would simply answer "YES" and cut them off.

LOL, I had "Occams Norelco" on AOL not to long ago, back when I frequented the "Evolution is a Fact" room. I think I deleted it though. I still put up with AOL but mostly because I tutor on the High School Physics Board and get it free :P

Hoagland's crap really needs to be debunked, but his latest rant is so all over the place it's hard to know where to start. sheesh. Some of his stuff, like the ritual degrees crap, I KNOW is wrong, but it's a lot harder to PROVE it's wrong and would take a lot of damn time.

did anyone else notice that, as predicted, he's included the "Hiking Map" as evidence that NASA is intending to explore as part of the continuing coverup?

I have this imaginary hole (ear to ear) in my head through which I process all pseudoinformation. It pays to waste little time on baloney. When you get to my age, every second counts, and baloney takes up too much precious time. That same hole takes care of the occasional nastiness which one encounters when dealing with the unfortunate jerks one meets now and then.

I am not evading any of it. I carefully put each bit of nastiness into a *little box*, similar to former President Clinton's *little box*, and save it for later. I even make the gesture with my hand of placing it in that mysterious *box*. However, *later* usually never arrives, and I often lose the nastier "little boxes*. They end up in my brain's handy trash disposal unit. It is great to have such tools at my disposal. It clears out the wax in my ears...

Honest...

When it comes to dealing with jerks, I do it with a flourish. Therefore, I do better because I know better...

Veeeeeellllllllly intrralesting....

Made me think of Peter Sellars in the political satire movie "Being There", where he's wandering around the sidewalks of D.C. and tries to use his carry-along TV remote control......on people!

An editorial in the Denver Post many years ago, spoke of similar situations, but with a more drastic solution. The writer wanted the City of Denver to install wicker-wire baskets all around town,...at intersections, bus stops, barber shops, cafes, - you know, where people congregate. In these baskets would be a number of select 2 x 4's, so if one was accosted by cheap talk, then one could wop-'em-upside-the-head with a 2 x 4!
Guess his point was to be able to "wise-up" people right away.

If I can wake-up the right synapes....the editorial in the Denver Post would had been during the 2nd week of July of 1980. Sorry, don't have the day, maybe Wednesday. Was just north of you in the Estes Park area, soaking in the high part of the Rocky Mountains.

Gives me a place to start at the library. Can search the microfiche...then print. Would like to read that one...Or could call a friend at the Denver Post, if he still works there. (One problem here tho, he's a real fundie, yikes!)

Actually I didn't see that one coming... DOH!
"let's put our top secret plans to explore this thing on CNN" I guess I don't think cranky enough yet...

Doesn't he realize that that was a direct jab at HIM??? sheesh. He also thinks they are taking another picture of it next month because they know it really isn't a mesa. Do you think they'd even bother at this point if it wasn't for the idiots screaming?

I wish I had a hole in my head that this drivel could just drip out of, but for some reason I have a morbid fascination with hoagland.

It's a Pharaoh, It's a lion, it's ultraman, it's a grey, it's a guy holding a baby, it's a kitty, it slices, it dices, it makes julian fries. Act now or this amazing offer will be gone forever!

Of course, it's a well established fact that alien 'greys' are really a hallucination brought on by an undiagnosed Ultraman fixation. Other symptoms include seeing flaming giant turtles in the skies, monster faces in geological features, in later stages, patients stop brushing their teeth so that they may develop 'nuclear halitosis'.
