What it is, we have an administration composed almost entirely of those who legally (pretty borderline in some cases) dodged the service to pursue their own ends.
Ah, f, I think that we can logically assume that being AWOL from even the Air National Guard for eight months is a bit past the point of 'borderline'. It never ceases to amaze me how a few can completely ignore Mr. Bush's escapades in his vacation from Viet Nam, while attacking a recent ex-president for chasing a deferment to study as a Rhodes Scholar.

Maybe, they never got a BJ either?

It's a strange world.

Tokyodreamer's "point" is that he is a glutton for punishment, and either a racist or a fan of bad analogies.

But...., but Tim; wouldn't that make Bush a deserter from the Armed Forces in time of war, rather than a mere malingerer? Oh, the UCMJ takes a dim view of that, it does; a very dim view indeed!

You really must stop saying such things about our loyal and pious Commander in Chief, who is working tirelessly, night and day and day and night, to protect us all from the evils of Islam, employment, and prosperity, not necessarly in that order. Just think: it was a loyal, American member of his administration that bravely protected us from the sight of the Horrid, Aluminium Tit of Justice a couple of years back. And it only cost us $8,000! Where can you get protection like that?

Would you rather see this great American, this magnificent leader, stand, utterly disgraced, before a General Courts Martial?

What?! You would?? Shame on you!
