"5 will get you 10 that this depressing young man will never post a second time.

"Any takers?"

WELL, SO FAR YOU ARE RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT.

So I conclude that you are a vegetarian...
Unfortunately, you jumped to that conclusion without asking for more information. While it is true that I've never had a hamburger or a steak, never had lobster bisque or a pile of nicely greasy chicken, I love crispy bacon. French toast is good stuff, too - can't get enough. Meats other than those, however, I've never had a liking for, which is why I said I wasn't much of a carnivore, not that I wasn't a carnivore at all.

By the way, I've been this way since I was three years old, so it's not like I made a fully-informed decision to avoid most meats. I'm certainly not 99% vegetarian because I agree with 99% of the typical vegetarian politics. And nowadays, 34 years later, most meats don't smell very good to me. Fish reeks. Pizza smells like vomit.

My parents were so freaked about all of this they actually had my sense of taste tested at a university lab when I was about 11. I tested normal.

Do people eat turtles? You bet. From turle steaks to turtle soup. Don't know where it's the most popular, but it used to be pretty big in the southern U.S..
Down here on the bayou, turtle sauce picante is one of the favorite dishes. It's quite spicy, and generally made from the meat of the local loggerhead turtles, or alligator snappers as they're usually called. Plus, for a few, this is the meaning of life. People in these parts take great pride in how they prepare their fresh game. This area may not be as rural as you may think, but that's still how most of the folks about my age and older still see it.

Well.. you are right..I was a little careless..I jumped into the conclusion you were a vegetarian, but I wasn t sure what carnivore means..but still you are right, cause you said you didn t eat beef not meat at all..and I thought this was a good opportunity to see, how a vegetarian thinks and how his argumentation would be to what I ve written, but you are not a vegetarian so...
Personally the last few years I don t eat as much meat as I ate before... meat is starting to taste and smell a little bit strong.

turtle sauce picante..That s also an other unknown taste to me..

u talking to me?
