For anyone who didn't catch Bozola's ref to this other post of Pip's on the StraightDope board, it ended up here:

They seemed to get rid of him pretty effectively. Nasty bunch  But someone made a very good point; there are ads on that site and he could possibly be making money everytime someone loads that page!
Good enough reason to AVOID it. Less Jim Beam for Piper boy.
Chances are he doesn't make money from it, but why aid the cause anyways?

"Arf" is an old "fist" (in radio sense) of mine dating back twenty years. I've been able to track Piper across the internet to a couple of uninteresting places. SpaceConspiracy & EnterpriseMission. Yuk!!!
The name "Seethruart" may have been a mistake for him to expose; I've tracked that one far and wide. I luv the thrill of the hunt.

Pretty standard HB/authoritarian stuff but irritating just the same. I hammered the last one pretty hard, easy to spot his alcohol/ego-driven power-seeking now. Are ALL the HBs neurotic power-seekers?

You are far braver then I am. I popped in on the Enterprise Mission BB a couple weeks ago. Literally made me ill to the stomach reading things like "All those science types need to be open minded" blah blah blah. ACK
Closed Mindedness- There is no face on mars, I don't need to see facts, I already know it's not there.
My type of Openmindedness- There is probably no artifically constructed face on mars, I've seen the evidence and I believe it is more then enough to prove (to me at any rate) it is natural. When and if there is more evidence in favor of it being artificial I will gladly change my mind.

I've been a practicing and very active skeptic for over 20 years. I've seen and heard some amazing idiocy in that time. Nevertheless, like several other BABB members, I am dumbstruck at this attempted revival of geocentrism. Have we sunk that far? What is happening to this country? Over the years, quite a few people have asked me why I am so harsh toward "harmless cranks." Cranks they are, harmless they are not. Lunatic fringe ideas of all kinds are moving into the mainstream. They are as looney as ever but no longer the fringe, as moon hoaxers and creationists have amply demonstrated.
I am really afraid now that all our efforts may not be enough to prevent a new dark age.

Tread carefully there, Rift  ...that "hogging the board" comment sounds just like my favorite crank of all time, Comp_Org/Gauss/Pancho/Patch and his "all these Brits are pushing *my* important posts off the board!".
