Wait a sec. Two questions.
Is the "man laying with man" thing all the Bible says against homosexuality? 'Cause that means I could lie with a woman and still not sin, 'cause I'm a girl. (if I believed in this stuff, which I don't)
Also, at what point does physical homosexual contact become a sin? Two women or two men cannot do the penis-in-vagina thing (apologies for the bluntness here.) So...is fondling a sin? Kissing? Gential bumping? Orgasm?
Serious questions. |

Romans 1:26 is allegedly the only mention of lesbianism in the Bible (women turning away from "natural use"), and yeah, it's allegedly bad, too.quote: Also, at what point does physical homosexual contact become a sin? Well, Judas kissed Jesus to show the Romans which one of the group was the trouble-maker, so it can't be that, as otherwise Jesus would have been tipped off immediately. Instead, Jesus was rather upset that a kiss was used for betrayal at all.
I don't believe the Bible speaks to fondling or bumping. It does, however, speak of sodomy. And for Catholics, any male orgasm not targeted at making a baby is forbidden. |

Oh! So, Mormons stem from the Catholics? When a woman is no longer able to have children, the husband finds another one who can. All this time I thought Joe thought it up on his own. Whoops, excuse me, that god told him to do it. Isn't talking about sex fun? When are you going to add a pornography folder? I'd like to see to believe. |

Or a husband who is not faithful to his wife. I believe in the eyes of God, that no matter how Bible-banging typical christian it sounds, these are just as sinnful in God's eyes as being gay. So instead of saying I live in a region that is to accepting of gay's. I should say I live in a country that to accepting of sinnful sexual behavior.
What I think is one of the reasons why you *say* that you don't spend any time with people who are gay, might just because they who are gay, don't dare to tell you that they are. Why do you hate people not based on what they have done to harm others, but rather on something so silly as to who they prefer to have sex with?
And, you're also living in a country that accepts people who hate people who have never done any harm to another human being. Aren't you thankful? :) Is this what true christians should be like? |
