The Rude Pundit's views on Bill O'Reilly's phone sex hobby.
quote: Let it be true that O'Reilly repeatedly reminded Mackris that she owed him a dinner out. Let it be true that he phoned her excitedly after interviewing a pair of porn stars. Let it be true that he offered to go with her to buy a vibrator. Let it be true that O'Reilly told Mackris he wanted to get her down to the Caribbean so he could get her drunk ("intravenously," if necessary) and then he'd get in a shower with her and rub her "big boobs" with a loofah and, as O'Reilly supposedly said, "then I would take the other hand with the falafel thing and I'd put it on your pussy but you'd have to do it really light, just kind of a tease

Bah, it's no fair. You Americans get all the entertaining freaks. Kent Hovind, Jimmy Swaggert, Bill O'Reilly, John Edward...
We have to make do with mundane, boring freaks like this one (although admittedly the high-school level english adds a certain cuteness to it).
Come to think of it, i read about this local guy who thinks atoms are miniature spaceships... let me see if i can still find the link.

Ooh, that'd be so cool. I could open my own insane asylum and put all these guys together. I think people would pay money to see Kent trying to convince Edwards that the voices he channels are actually demons lusting after his eternal soul.

Found it, sadly only in Dutch. Fortunatly though the translation is not without merits:
quote:
You can you perhaps propose that the micro cosmos prevent a world is on itself, precisely as our world. That want to say, that it electrons are on which living bes live, precisely as we on our globe live.
And that living bes have been composed natural again of yet many and much smaller mini-atoms, and on that mini-atoms then also again living bes, that are yet many and much smaller, and that live consist on their turn also again of yet much smaller super-mini-atoms, et cetera et cetera, than an infinite series to the town smaller and smaller..
At such series also an end do never needs find to come, for small and large its only relative, for what we dreadfully small, is an atom for instance, for a micro being, that lives on such atom again dreadfully large.

Plyss, the "atoms as little solar systems" babble is what stoned college students talk about for "meaningful discussion." It was a gag in 1978's Animal House:Pinto [Stoned for the first time]: Okay... So that means that our whole solar system could be like one tiny atom in the fingernail of some other giant being. [Giggles] Oh, that's too much! That means... that one tiny atom in my fingernail could be...
Mr. Jennings: Could be one little... tiny... universe.
Pinto: [Laughs] ...Could I buy some pot from you? That's about how seriously one should consider such ideas, of course. |

Wow, Dave, you read my mind. As I was reading through that babble all I could think of is "Animal House rip-off." Then I move on to your post and there it is!
P.S. Plyss, your sig is a Aqua Teen Hunger Force quote, right? Because that show is genius, and Shake is probably one of the funniest character's I've ever seen, hands down.

Well, of course, Animal House "ripped it off" from real-life stupidity on campus. It's probably still going on today, as I know it was still going on in the 80s, at least with my idiot friends who thought they were being "deep."
Damn, I have really got to find a free "rolleyes" smiley... |

That's a page with a bunch of smileys many of which I recognize from years ago which were created for specific forums and websites and they are not free to use. Someone has collected them and has presented them as such but I am thinking they are not. With any luck we will have a talented members who will supply us with a unique eye rolling alien or something.

Sounds like a hint to me, folks. At the very least, I will heap praise on anyone who comes forward with a completely original and well-done rolleyes smiley for use here. |

He Plyss, don't forget our Emiel Ratelband. I think we have quite a lot of nutties around without Kent Hovind joining them.
Hadn't noticed that Scheele was still around by the way. Do you know whether he still preaches to the choir? Would be fun to go to one of his sermons once (although I don't know whether I could hold in my laughter). I see he removed his forum from the site. Now why would that be? |
