Two planes have crashed into the World Trade Center, one each into the north and south towers. I have just heard that a plane has crashed into the courtyard of the Pentagon.
The way I see it, christians are godless too...they just don't know it yet. |

Then Spoq just has to write in with some geocentric nonsense. Is there anyone besides me who'd love to dope slap that guy?
BTW, that night was beautiful, and even though it was nearly freezing outside, I still lugged the scope outside for a while.

When I saw JW babbling about the speed of light I had a real WTF moment. Wasn't that thread supposed to be about the structural integrity of the Trade Center?
And a small delay isn't uncommon with "live" feeds. It's so the network can pull the plug in case of something objectionable, from shots of dead bodies to Madonna saying "fuck" to Letterman.
I had hoped that JW wouldn't have gotten the word the BA site was back up. ::sigh:: Guess we're getting back to business as usual.

Some people just revel in the attention generated by things such as ad homs, false claims and the like. Others just know The Truth and don't seem to understand that their Truth tends not to be The Truth really.
A board such as BABB is a natural target for these people, elsewhere labelled as 'trolls'.
As well as the occasional nutcase (do you think Piper and Hogwash really believe the crap they're spouting?) out to make a quick buck from the ignorant.

I had almost thought you guys were almost kidding about JW, but I just came here from BABB, and I was like, "Who gives a fuck what the hell the speed of light is? A few thousand people have just died in the worst terrorist attack in US history and he's worried about the damn speed of light?" If he and I were in the same room, I'd have smacked him upside the head for being so f'ing stupid.
One can only wonder WTF Pipe-up-his-butt and all the other conspiracy crackhead's are thinking now.

Not really, but if they're thinking that the US government did this to itself, I'd take my boot, shine it up real nice, turn it sideways, and shove it so far up their asses that they'd be tastin' leather for the rest of their lives.
