If he responds I will NOT in anyway respond with anything other than the same tone I have taken so far in discussing this with him. Like I said, I do have better things to worry about than what he thinks of me, gee, guess that means I don't really care about his personal opinion, hmm....

I like your style.

those that make things happen, those that watch things happen, and
those that wonder what happened.

It's amazing what you don't see because of the 72dpi limitation of the screen. If he had access to a good 300 dpi photo he would even see that the astronaut in the photo is Steve Austin.

Would that be before or after they put him back together?

I can't remember...didn't he go after he was reassembled? Maybe he went before and after. Are there any Steve Austin historians out there?

Good grief, this thread is certainly getting long and convoluted. It's hard to keep track of the different conversations if you don't check in on a regular basis.

That mature and wise lunar expert, piper just blasted Bozola for the kitty on the moon picture.

[Bozola - love the fruitloop response, by the way!]

Thank you, thank you :)

Yes, well, I don't blow a gasket over his posts. You will notice that he's not responiding to my posts. Hmmm, I wonder why, maybe he would sound like a vituperative little whiner in the face of calm reason?

Sorry, he doesn't bother me, just his particular brand of drivel. Belief with credulity and without reason, logic or evidence. Yikes! That burns my britches!

I noticed that he posted the exact same picture as the first picture that he was blabbing about, EXCEPT the cat was missing! To me this meant that he was trying to prove that there was no cat by cutting that part of the picture out. Was this just me?

Not really Megan. He's just thinks if he posts the same picture again and again we will believe his drivel through shear repetitiveness. This tells me he learns by wrote without thinking about the information. He expects belief without reason, I hate to draw this comparison (no I don't) HBs are very much like bibull thumping fundamentalists. Believe me cause I say so and I CAN SCREAM LOUDER THAN YOU!

Yikes! They should congregate under trees during thunderstorms!

Wow, I stop to drool over one tiny TV show...were you guys getting your cages cleaned or what? Trish? You're supposed to be the adult here! What happened? Megan, come on, we've talked. James? I don't know what to say, I expected better. Rift, never mind. We agreed to ignore him, remember? Was I having a conversation with myself, hmmm?
Look, behave yourselves.

Megan - Where's Lisa today? I got a little upset at a post she made on the BABB about the X-43A failure yesterday (in response to one by Nick) and I've been trying to apologize to her today, now that I'm in a better frame of mind about that unfortunate failure.

Megan, Trish, Rift, Bozola, et. al.: I am not a trained expert in human behavior by any stretch of the imagination, but I do consider myself a pretty good armchair (amateur) psychologist when evaluating the behavior of others. Piper's posts and responses exhibit classic characteristics of a narcissistic and immature sociopath who can't communicate at any functional level with other people, particularly with those who disagree with him (I believe piper is a "he", no disrespect intended to the true gentlemen regulars here and at the BABB). I distrust this individual at some instinctual, gut-level "flight or fright" part of my reptilian brain (this instinctual response has served me well many times in the past). He has made remarks that could be considered threats against others on the board, especially Phil. Perhaps these threats don't mean anything (they probably don't), but sometimes I feel like we're teasing a coiled rattlesnake.(I know, I know: I get my share of digs in at piper, too; I can't help myself sometimes).

He is not your typical hoaxer, who posts pictures and runs away or writes some grammatically-challenged screed and never returns to see the answers. I honestly feel that he will continue to haunt that board until he is convinced we all believe what he dictates.

By the way, I DO agree with calmly and objectively refuting any new flames that he posts so that others that may be confused can see the answers and hopefully be persuaded. I guess the trick is to not flame back when he gets into the PeeWee mode ("I know you are but what am I").

Sorry about the long post - I sincerely hope that piper never discovers this board and this thread, because it could send him over the edge and then we would have to deal with him here. I doubt if he will discover SFN, though, since the word "skeptic" is in the title (LOL).
