I was quite pleased with the layout of your site until I saw the name of the last category:
Bad TV! Bad Movies! No doughnut!
Let me make this perfectly clear: NOTHING JUSTIFIES DENYING MY RIGHTS TO DOUGHNUTS!!!!!! I AM A FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE NDA!!! I HAVE A STATE-ISSUED CONCEALED DOUGHNUT LICENSE!! THE SUPREME COURT HAS CONSISTENTLY UPHELD MY RIGHT TO EAT DOUGHNUTS!

Dang! I'm stuck down here in Texas! My brother's system is so slow I'm not even going to try to see the new board until I get home on Friday. Just reaching this board is enough of a challange.
BTW, Ed and I are both retired from the AF. He's in Qatar with a civilian company, basically doing his old job, except that he doesn't have to shave.

Where is that typo? I cannot find it.
Anyway, the guy who wrote the software has riddled it with literally hundreds of typos like that. I have been correcting them as I find them, but it may be hopeless to catch all of then. :-(

The new and improved BABB is cool enough. Liked your graphics, but the presentation is a bit bright. Isn't it? Won't be switching between Deep Sky objects, the telly, and the BABB anytime soon. No real sweat, thou, nice job, overall.

Neat site BA! Like the looks and feel, - similar to this board. Maybe have a host of cosmic avatars? Message icon here is kinda cool, but guess one can insert their own  if they want to.  |

I concur with everyone, it's a nice clean design. I notice there's a whole category for non-mainstream: good. It will be nice to seperate those discussions from the more sober astonomical threads.

One very majorly important question: Who in the [blue]BLUE HELL let Pipe-up-his-butt into BABB?!?!?!     I thought we'd lost him, but now, he's back. For those who have not been over to BABB just yet, look for the big thread with Pipe-up-his-butt's name all over it.

I know this is off topic - nice board BA.
My dad was admitted to the VA hospital today. They've got him so doped up he's not aware of what going on around him. (I guess for the pain he's been in the last few weeks.) They think two of the tumors may be related to a malignancy.

Well, well! Crank.net has Piper Anonymous up as a resource site!  Hee hee. Sent 'em a note about it right after they added Piper's lunacy to their list of cranks, guess they liked it. http://www.crank.net/resources.html
Aargh, though, I had actually started to miss Piper (illogical, I know) and was almost convinced he was not coming back. This time around he isn't even posting Rover pictures, he starts right in with the nasty personal attacks. Sometimes I wonder--did he go to school to learn how to be so provoking? Grrr.

BA--new board looks pretty good; I think you've made good sub-topic choices.
The news in my life is that I'm starting to understand stuff in calculus class early on in the explanations, rather than still being confused after the long hairy explanation. Must cut down on the discussions of Terry Pratchett with my buddy while waiting for the rest of the class to catch up, though....prof is giving us evil looks.

I took some stuff down to the hospital for him - magazines and stuff. But he's so doped up. Their going to do a bone marrow biopsy - so I don't know how bad this is going to be. I don't think the doctors do either.
